By accessing or using Bitcoin-Tech ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Bitcoin-Tech is a crypto portfolio tracking application that allows users to:
- Manually track cryptocurrency and precious metals portfolios
- Import transaction data via CSV from exchanges such as Binance or Coinbase
- View live and historical market data
- Calculate profit & loss (P&L) using the FIFO method
- Generate tax reports according to DE/EU regulations
- Browse physical Bitcoin coins and precious metals listings
The Service does not require wallet private keys and does not execute trades or manage funds on your behalf.
3. No Financial Advice
All content, data, market prices, P&L calculations, and tax estimates provided by the Service are for informational purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial, investment, or tax advice. You should consult a qualified financial advisor or tax professional before making any investment or tax-related decisions.
4. User Accounts
To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Free & Pro Plans
The Service offers a Free Plan with basic portfolio tracking features and a Pro Plan with extended features including tax exports, historical data, and exchange integrations.
- Pro subscriptions are billed monthly (?2.99/month) or as a one-time payment (?19??30)
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe or in-app purchase (Google Play / App Store)
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Refunds are handled in accordance with EU consumer protection law (14-day right of withdrawal)
6. Data & Privacy
Your portfolio data is stored locally on your device where possible. When data is stored on our servers, it is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
7. Third-Party Data Sources
Market prices are sourced from third-party providers (e.g. CoinGecko). We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. We are not liable for any losses arising from reliance on third-party data.
8. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
- Share your account credentials with others
- Upload malicious files or data
- Circumvent any access controls or payment systems
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bitcoin-Tech and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses, data loss, or tax miscalculations.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
